How to Avoid Getting Burned:

Reduce your sensitivity, or
Reduce your exposure.

Sounds easy,
Feels impossible.

I think taking risks in life is vital. Yes, sometimes we do get burned. But if we don’t take risks, we become stagnant and empty. If you’ve been burned recently, I’m so, so sorry. Try not to let it keep you from opening your beautiful heart once again. <3

      I agree wholeheartedly Morine. 🙂

Part of my journey right now is learning how much to stick my neck out, and how to tell when I’m sticking it out in a place where I’m sure to get burned.

I don’t think we can ever guarantee our own safety. But willfully ignoring warning signs is a bad plan, too.
